Before I go to bed.....

I have just stumbled across a blog called The Scrapbook. It is a perfect wealth of inspiration beautiful paintings and poems to go with each. I haven't had time to explore it myself yet, it's something that will have to keep for tomorrow.

A poem I write years ago, tell me what you think it means...

Thinking in our reasoned light
No answer blocks our say.
Running from towards the night,
We carry on our way.

In our gloried human right
We worship sun and day,
Spurning thoughts revealing light
And carry on our way.

Heedless in our hopeless height,
The heretics we flay.
Running downwards in the night,
Our golden glory gray.

Through cold fog and blighted sight
We barely see the ray.
Truthful and forgiving light;
We tarry on our way.

Poems with little brothers

I helped my little brother, Nathaniel, write this poem last night, while playing with the 'sticky notes' program on my computer. It was fun and laughter!

  They folded in the light
Like leaves dangling from a tree
In a room more bright
Than the eye can see

He likes to write but calls me strange for writing poetry though at the same time he was assured of my literary skill when I wrote this silly little ditty in a few seconds for his enjoyment. He thought it was very funny!

Go go run run
of to bed you've had your fun.
Hurry  hurry you're in a slurry
don't forget to eat your curry!!!

But he will be 15 this month, and that's hardly little! He's not a stuck up teenager too cool to write poetry with me and have some fun, which is nice! All evening he was saying these witty things, and I don't know where he got them from! Like:

'The clock was still hungry so it went back for seconds'

'If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?'

My lill 'bro'!
